Wurzburg is a very cool city in central Germany. This was the first stop on a all too short return visit to Germany in October 2009. Unfortunately I hit some very bad weather for most of the trip – the temps dropped from about 20 degrees C (70F) to about 0 degrees C in one day – it was downright nasty to be outdoors. Despite that I tried to get out as much as possible and re-visit some classic places while staying warm with a lot of Gluhwein.
