She was sick. She had completely lost her voice the day before she had to do her prelim talent. I think she did great considering she had no voice less than a week before
Miss America doesn’t compete at Miss Universe. Thats a completely different system
don’t get me wrong i love miss america- i was there- but i think the main reason miss indiana won was because of all her exposure on the countdown to the crown tv show. they showed her so much, which made america remember her more, and vote for her. for example, on american idol, they always show certain contestants a lot. the ones that arent shown usually get voted off at the beginning
I don’t think she deserved the crown. Just my opinion.
I live in Seymour where she is from and her dad is my choir teacher!!!! I’m so proud of her for representing Indiana!!

You can just tell by her sincere reaction of pure happiness when she won that she truely deserved that crown!
