This is Bikini Beach in Gordons Bay, Cape Town, so named because of its triangular shape, not the bikini wearers that frequent it.
The wind was howling, which accounts for the small number of people on the beach. Normally on Christmas Day there would hardly be any sand visible for all the people.
This shot was taken with my new Sigma 10-20mm lens.
