Grishuk & Platov – Nagano Memorial 98
Best dance team ever. That is their legendary performance in Olympic Nagano in 1998. They won gold medals for this outstanding performance. Pasha and Eugeniy are the only dance team to win two Olympic gold medals. Bravo!!! The brilliance of this performance does however annoy some “has-beens” (or it’s better to say “has-never-been’s”) like Tracy Wilson whose olympic bronze in 1988 is sadly her highest achievement. In this video she makes comments of utmost stupidity and jealousy. Well, the world has forgotten you, miss, but we still remember Evgeniy Platov and Oksana “Pasha” Grishuk! Tatiana Tarasova, the duo’s trainer, has a nervous breakdown at the end of the video. She is comforted by her colleague and long time friend Elena Chaikovskaya! Wonderful moment!
